All around the world lots of people blog. Now before this year I barely even knew what a blog was and about everything it is used for. Blogging has taught me lot and has also got me to see a lot of people perspectives on things. It also taught me of a new way to communicate with people and to meet new friends.  Now for the past month I have been spending way more time on her and have even been keeping in touch with a few people. I guess these new laptops that we got let me do that more often. Though I still don’t really work on my blog at home I still keep pretty close in touch with it and am always ready to think about an interesting topic and start typing way! I also think that blogging has helped me do better in Language Arts and has helped me improve writing skills because of what I write and the comments i leave people.

Well it looks like another winter is about to come to an end…I hope. Spring break is in 2 more days and the weather isn’t completely showing signs that it’s spring. Tomorrow we get out at 2:05. I don’t know if im going to be doing anything interesting yet. It is basically just me and my mom because my dad works and my sisters gone to Europe. That means i’m making her bring me something back!:P So far I think i’m just gonna kick back and do whatever. I will probably be laying off on the blog so this might be my last post for a little while. Hope you keep on reading and have an awesome spring break!

Now I have been thinking of things to write about and I thought of something I would like to put out there. I am going to talk about how important  communication is and how it is one of the biggest parts of life. Communication has been around for a while now. It is a way for people to get to know each other, to be able to ask for your needs and just to have something to do. Some ways of communicating are through signs, songs, computers, postcards and etc. With communication you can know everything that’s going on in the world and even outside of earth.  It lets us know about when disasters are going to strike like tornadoes and is entertainment for us. Can you imagine what it would be like with no communication?  Now I’m not talking about not being able to use words. I’m talking about not knowing any symbols or communications signs or sounds. That would probably change the way human life and animal life is. A reason for this would be if there are many soldiers in Iraq who are getting hurt and killed right now then we wont know and we will never know how everything is going and when everything is going to end. Another interesting thing with not being able to communicate would be picking governments. How would we know what their accomplishments are? How would we also know if they live up to their potential? Now next time you say hello be glad to know you can show people how you feel.

This picture interests me because it is an animated one that shows someone lying in a hospital and a few doctors talking. They are communicating on what to do with the patient.

I have been laying off the blog lately because I’ve been a little busy. This time I am going to talk about something different. Freedom. You see here in Canada we have lots of freedom and I think that is one of the reasons I am proud to call it my country.

Now to me freedom is having the right to do something your own way and being able to go outside and feel that you are safe and free where you are. Can you imagine what it woud be like to live in a country where there is a war goig on right beside your door? I sure can’t. I would be scared and would never want to leave my house. I could imagine the nights where you could hear the rumbling noises shaking my house and the cries for help by the soldiers. I could hear the young men who were sent out scared and hiding. But I am just thinking because when I wake up in the morning I know i’m gonna be looking at the bright blue sky or the morning coolness on my skin or I will see everyone out working in their yards or sleeping peacefully. Freely.

In Science we are looking  at and water and water systems.  We are also learning about the effect of it on our enviroment. I have found a few good blogs I would like to talk about.

The Eviromental Blog: This blog is very well organized and has tabs that separate the different topics. It talks about the environment, how to save energy, do’s and dont’s and more. It is also designed to look good to draw more attention.

Portland Water Blog: Has easy tabs to get around and has lots of information about the dangerous chemicals that ca be in water. It also talks about water filters too.

Enviroment-x: This blog is good because it has information about resort places and how their climate is and about the changes going on in the environmental world. It is well organized too.

These are some blogs i think my class should subscribe too because they teach you about water land and the environment.

This weekend there are a few things happening. It is our annual winter hoot. The winter hoot is a thing we have where there is someone dressed as an owl and there are activities going on. Today there is an ice worm hunt which is a thing in a box that is hidden around town an there are clues to find it. Tomorrow there is a hockey game against The Pas I am playing in and a movie. On  Sunday is when all the activities are going on. There is a cake walk, penny parade monster basketball and other things.  I have to help face paint  on Sunday too.  Well I guess that is all.  Peace for now.
